Rumored Lucia Actress Goes Viral After Dodging Swarm of GTA 6 Comments During Livestream

Manni L. Perez, the actress long rumored to be playing Lucia in GTA 6, has gone viral after dodging a swarm of comments from Grand Theft Auto fans during a recent livestream. Rockstar Games has refrained from confirming the vast majority of the cast of next month's new GTA game, but as if there was ever any doubt, that hasn't stopped ravenous fans from piecing a list together themselves. Perez is one name theorists have talked about for years, so she took a few minutes to let thousands of viewers get to know her while masterfully dodging a swarm of GTA 6 comments along the way.

Reaching a peak of more than 2,100 viewers on a six-month-old Instagram account with just nine posts, Perez spent her 12-minute livestream talking about her life growing up in a "small, rural, redneck-y" town. She detailed that she lives in a studio apartment with a dog and loves to cook. During the stream, when responding to fans who assumed she was wealthy, Perez stated: "But yeah, no, I'm not rich. I'm a regular person... I live in a small studio apartment, which I love. I have my tiny, little itty-bitty kitchen, and it's just me and my dog." She also mentioned her appreciation for her family.

Despite the steady flow of responses begging her to confirm her alleged role—which would be guarded under a strict non-disclosure agreement—Perez only acknowledged users commenting about anything else. While this all comes from years of clues gathered by fans, Rockstar's lack of confirmation doesn't mean there's nothing to suggest Perez is playing Lucia in GTA 6.

The actress has credits for single episodes of shows like Jessica Jones and The Blacklist, and she even played a blackjack dealer in Grand Theft Auto Online. As far as confirmed roles go, Stephen Root is set to play drug trafficker Brian Heder. Fans have long speculated that Modern Family actor Dylan Rourke might fill the role of Lucia's partner in crime, Jason, but he has not been confirmed either. For now, fans must wait until launch for the full cast details.
