XBOX Nano Controller Arrives: A Pocket-Sized Powerhouse for Modern Gaming
Gaming on the go has never been easier, thanks to the introduction of the XBOX Nano Controller. Designed with ultimate portability in mind, this new peripheral aims to fit into nearly every pocket while maintaining all the functionality players expect from a modern console accessory. Its compact nature makes it an ideal choice for younger gamers, individuals with smaller hands, or anyone who simply needs a reliable way to enjoy their favorite titles away from the living room setup.
The XBOX Nano Controller is engineered to be incredibly small and light, clocking in at just over 5 inches in length and weighing only 3.5 ounces. This makes it significantly lighter and shorter than most modern smartphones, giving users a genuinely pocketable experience. Despite its diminutive size, the controller refuses to compromise on performance; it includes all 18 standard gameplay inputs, ensuring that players benefit from a familiar and comfortable layout they already love. For $49.99 USD, this device offers an approachable new option for family fun, making it easier than ever to get everyone involved in shared gaming experiences.
The pocketable design is perhaps its greatest selling point, allowing users to slip the controller into a bag or carry it with them throughout the day. Whether you are traveling across state lines, visiting friends and family, or simply want to take titles like Forza Horizon 6 beyond the confines of your home console, the Nano Controller provides convenient access to fun. It is also perfect for local co-op gaming, such as playing Minecraft Dungeons II with up to four heroes teaming up in the living room.
Beyond its size and affordability, the XBOX Nano Controller is packed with modern features designed for convenience. It includes a rechargeable battery and boasts a programmable Action Button that can be customized by the user. This button can be mapped for frequently used shortcuts, such as taking screenshots or initiating gameplay capture. Connectivity is seamless, supported by both XBOX Wireless and Bluetooth, allowing it to connect effortlessly across a wide range of compatible devices.
Players are already able to pre-order the XBOX Nano Controller starting today for $49.99 USD. The rollout plan is massive, with availability scheduled to begin in November across an extensive list of global markets, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong SAR, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, the United Kingdom, and the United States. While pricing and availability vary by country, consumers are advised to check their local Microsoft Store or an authorized retailer for precise details.
To further enhance the accessibility of gaming this holiday season, XBOX is partnering with major tech brands in the US market. For instance, a special bundle has been created with Samsung: purchasing select Samsung TVs comes bundled with the XBOX Nano Controller and two months of Game Pass Ultimate (for new members). This integration utilizes the Gaming Hub built into Samsung TVs, allowing players to use their monthly cloud playtime to access hundreds of XBOX Game Pass titles simply by connecting the controller. Furthermore, a separate holiday offer is available in partnership with Meta, which bundles the XBOX Nano Controller and two months of Game Pass Ultimate subscription (for new members) when purchasing a Meta Quest.
