Avengers: Doomsday Poster Highlights Doctor Doom and 3 Latverian Witches

Marvel Studios has revealed a new Avengers: Doomsday poster, giving audiences a closer look not only at Doctor Doom but also at the three Latverian witches who will accompany him this December. This latest look at the new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie was shared on social media as part of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga in Spain. The poster features Doctor Doom taking center stage, looking menacingly powerful. However, the real highlight is the three Latverian witches standing behind him. These mysterious characters have been a subject of much debate among MCU fans. While some onlookers might assume they are mere henchmen, many believe their identities could be significant. Fan theories suggest that the witch with red robes could be Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, and the green-robed witch might be Sophia Di Martino's Sylvie. The identity of the character in purple remains highly debated, with suggestions pointing to Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness or Clea. While these are just theories for now, recent MCU developments suggest that Avengers: Doomsday may feature secret cameos. Meanwhile, Anthony Mackie took his Comic-Con appearance as an opportunity to tease surprising moments from the new movie, stating, “I think the big thing is the amount of doom you’re going to see... Every corner we turn and every time somebody speaks, it’s like, ‘There’s a lot of doom outside.’ It’s non-stop pandemonium.” He added that the Russo brothers are great at giving every character their moment. All will be revealed when Avengers: Doomsday arrives December 18, 2026.
