Amazon Reveals New Line of Kindle Devices Ahead of Prime Big Deal Days

Amazon has revealed its 2026 line of Kindle devices just a few days before its Prime Big Deal Days sale. The refresh includes a brand new standard Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, and Kindle Colorsoft, along with new accessories and Kids Editions of these tablets. All of the new devices and accessories are now available to buy or preorder on Amazon, and older Kindle devices are also getting discounted as part of the sale.

The 2026 models feature several improvements over previous generations, including being thinner, lighter, and faster. Key upgrades include aluminum hardware options and highly requested features like cover page turning for the new Signature Editions of the Paperwhite and Colorsoft models. The standard Kindle is expected to be 30% faster when opening books and will feature edge-to-edge color across the full lineup.

The standout accessory is the Amazon Kindle Click, a Bluetooth-compatible remote that allows users to turn pages without physically touching the screen. This marks a significant improvement over previous third-party page-turners. The new Kindle Click will work with any Kindle model released in 2024 or later and is set to release alongside the main device lineup.

In addition to the remote, Amazon is also releasing new physical covers that include traditional page-turning buttons, bringing a more tactile experience back to the digital reading product.
