Avengers: Endgame Encore Leaks Reveal New Ending and Additional Scenes That Connect to Avengers: Doomsday, Including Several Unannounced Cast Members

Four new scenes included in Avengers: Endgame Encore have leaked online, including a tweaked ending to the 2019 Marvel blockbuster. These additional extras are designed to link Endgame directly to the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.

The first extra scene acts as a new ending to Endgame, merging with the pre-existing finale where Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter reunite. Their quiet moment is interrupted by Loki, who greets the couple. This version of Loki is noted to be from before his time with the TVA (Time Variance Authority) but after he moves Steve and Peggy to another branch of the multiverse for their protection.

Hulk Is Collected During Endgame Encore's credits, the first all-new scene features Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. This confirms Hulk’s return in Avengers: Doomsday. The scene finds Banner secluded in a military bunker discussing a new stabilizing serum when his work is interrupted by Doctor Doom. Robert Downey Jr.'s voice is heard saying that he has come to "collect" Banner, leading to the scientist seemingly morphing into the Hulk once more.

The TVA Realizes the Multiverse Is Collapsing The next all-new scene is set within the TVA, presumably after Loki's ascension to godhood. Mobius, Casey, and Ouroboros panic as they spot two colliding Earths from different universes—one being Universe-1005 (the Fox X-Men universe). The team quickly realizes that the entire multiverse is collapsing due to incursions, putting thousands of universes at risk.

At the end of Endgame Encore's credits, one final snippet sees Doctor Doom hammering his metal mask into shape. This is a clear nod to Iron Man and a reference to the original ending of Endgame, featuring the same hammer sounds.
